Our Client, a well growing airline based in the Middle East, requires for immediate employment a Vice President Aircraft Maintenance.



requirements:

Candidates must demonstrate the following capabilities and competencies:

Educational Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or ICAO type II holder engineer aircraft licenses with a minimum of 10 years experience

Experience:
- A minimum of fifteen years of operational experience gained in an aviation maintenance and engineering environment and technically qualified.
- A minimum of ten years of technical engineering experience with an international airline and at least five years spent in a senior management role.
- An understanding of what is required to manage, plan and develop a cost effective and efficient aircraft maintenance organization with the overall financial accountability.
- A clear understanding of operational excellence, quality, health and safety and technical issues, as well as "client" behaviour and understanding and experience of how to influence this.
- Demonstrable commercial skills and well rounded broad business knowledge, with a focus on team leadership and operational ability.
- A strong proven track record of results focused and delivery combined with exceptional leadership and influencing skills.
- Demonstrable evidence of strong conceptual thinking and innovation with a strong and proven track record of generating new ideas and concepts challenging traditional frontiers of thought.
- Ambitious and motivated individual with a determined and energetic leadership style
- Pragmatic individual with an understanding of what functionality and practicality is within a resource constrained environment.
- Individual with excellent team skills, with a genuine commitment to an open, collegiate management ethos allied to an essentially pragmatic approach and a strong influencer.
- Individual with strong intellect and personal credibility to manage multi-disciplinary teams, each with a different, but aligned, set of business objectives.

Skills and expertise:
- Good knowledge of aircraft / engine / avionics and Manufacturers Planning Documents (MPD)
- Must have a good working knowledge and understanding and be proficient in the use - of MS Office and other similar IT software packages.
- Fluent in English and be familiar with QCAA, EASA, ICAO regulations.
- Must have a good working knowledge and understanding and be proficient in the use of MSG-3 and MRB.
- Must be able to attract the best people into the business and further develop existing employees.
- Must be able to perform to high standards within an environment of constantly varying workload and achieve their targets and business objectives.
- Must be able to perform and think clearly in high pressure and technically complex situations in a 24/7 business and be able to make critical decisions using available information and personal knowledge, experience and judgement.
